Tracy Aldaco Huhn is the Business Engagement Coordinator at UTEP. Her responsibilities include helping industry leaders navigate UTEP, providing support for collaborative initiatives, and promoting mutually beneficial partnerships that impact the community.
Over the years, Tracy has creatively improved programs and processes in the economic development world. This includes structuring CRM systems, designing marketing and data material, building websites, and more. At this moment, Tracy is working to establish the Business Engagement Center at UTEP with guidance from the University’s 2023 Strategic Plan.
Outside of her role, Tracy teaches ESOL at UTEP and is a freelance photographer. She received her master’s in Applied Linguistics, and enjoys watching old classic films with her beautiful mother.
Where Photography Started
When I got my first iPod touch in middle school, I thought I solved disposable cameras I used up to store moments that passed by too fast.
In my teens, I was drawn into finding spaces where light touched colors in beautiful ways (reference photos below). This led me to learn how to edit photos to remember how a view truly looked through my eyes in that second.
While I'm still learning how to store photos to this day, I am thankful for how photography gives the ability to seek, find, capture, and remember spaces in life that we once were in. To give that to others is a privilege to have.
